About Us

Mission

The International Code Council Foundation is dedicated to changing the devastating effects of natural disasters and other building tragedies by promoting ideas, methods and technologies that encourage the construction of durable, sustainable buildings and homes.

Who We Are

The International Code Council Foundation (ICCF) is a nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) subsidiary of the International Code Council, Inc., an organization that develops and enforces the most widely adopted building codes in the nation. The Foundation enhances and supports the activities of the International Code Council and its members by achieving the goal of being the premier nonprofit addressing the safety of the built environment.

Objectives

The International Code Council Foundation is dedicated to:

  • Increasing consumer demand for and understanding of codes and mitigation as the keys to building safety.
  • Supporting the building profession through creation of expanded access to professional training and education as well as creation of independent research opportunities.
  • Creating community-based opportunities to connect ICC members to their constituencies and communities.
