Bogus Grants Not Authorized by ICC Foundation

If you receive a phone call or other form of solicitation offering to complete a form for a price to make you eligible for a $20,000 ICC Foundation grant, just say no.

Thanks to tips from ICC members and others, the following scam has been brought to our attention: The caller claims you are entitled to a grant, but must pay a fee to process the grant in a timely manner. Please be advised that neither the ICC Foundation nor the International Code Council is offering any such grants that require a fee for timely processing. If you receive contact from anyone making this or similar claims, please contact your local police department or states attorney.

With scams and identity theft on the rise, you should be very cautious about providing personal information over the phone or by e-mail.
