ICCF Scholarship Program

2008 Scholarship Deadline: June 30, 2008.

The ICCF Scholarship Program was established to support the advancement of building and fire safety, raise public awareness and honor those who have been essential to the formation of the ICC, its legacy organizations or chapters.

There are two types of scholarships.

Sponsored Scholarships. The International Code Council Foundation acts as home for the ICCF Sponsored Scholarship funds. The scholarships are funded by ICCF contributors and ICC Chapters. The scholarship program is managed by the International Code Council. The recipients for these scholarships are selected by a committee of volunteers. Separate policies are in effect for each scholarship that detail the selection and administrative guidelines, the eligibility requirements, and the selection criteria.

Deadline: June 30, 2008. Only one application required to apply for all sponsored scholarships.

Managed Scholarships. The ICCF provides administrative support for ICC Chapters who have scholarship programs. This optional chapter benefit is provided with no administrative support fee. Recipients of managed scholarships are selected by the sponsoring ICC Chapters in accordance with criteria determined by the Chapter. The International Code Council Foundation acts as home for the scholarship funds. The scholarships are funded solely by the sponsoring ICC Chapters. The distribution of the scholarships is coordinated by the International Code Council. Separate policies are in effect for each scholarship that detail the administrative guidelines.
